Further on is Puerto de la Torre, a busy little town with several supermarkets and restaurants including a Chinese.
Beyond Puerto de la Torre is the city of Malaga which boasts three Carrefour hypermarkets, shopping malls with all the big names, the world famous El Corte Ingles department store where you can spend a lot of time - and money - and buy just about anything; from a apair of flip-flops to a fur coat plus many smaller independent shops offering clothes, shoes, handbags, jewellery and more.
Antequera is a quieter town but also has its own shopping mall, supermarkets and numerous independent shops.
