About Villa San Antonio
Villa San Antonio is set in 5000sq mts of fenced, landscaped gardens in a secluded peaceful area just outside the old Moorish village of Almogia, which is just 45mins from Malaga Airport.
Almogia is north of Malaga, approximately half-way between Malaga and the ancient Roman capital of Andalusia, Antequera.
The villa has recently been totally refurbished to a very high standard, with plenty of thought being given to the comfort and enjoyment of all who come to stay.
It has its own private pool, which, along with the surrounding gardens, is illuminated to take full advantage of the balmy summer nights.
There are plenty of shady areas and terraces, allowing you to just relax and soak up the peace and quiet, and for al-fresco dining there is a covered dining area that seats eight people and has a built-in barbecue.
The villa is entered through a small, glazed sunroom which has a white wicker sofa and two chairs.
Off the sunroom is the comfortable sitting room which is divided into two areas. One area has two sofas situated around a wood burning fireplace and the other has two sofas arranged for convenient viewing of a flat-screen satellite television. One of the sofas in this area converts into a double bed, giving extra sleeping space for two people if necessary.
The villa is equipped to a very high standard; in the sitting
room as well as the television, there is also a DVD player and
a good library of DVDs, a portable CD/MP3 player/radio, plenty
of books and games to keep everyone amused.
The open-plan kitchen/diner has a table that seats six in comfort
and along with a generous supply of crockery, glasses etc, has
a modern electric oven with gas hob and extractor above; a dishwasher;
washing machine; tall fridge/freezer; microwave; filter coffee
machine with permanent filter; toaster and toasted sandwich maker
Two of the three bedrooms are en-suite. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and plenty of storage in the pine wardrobe and chest of drawers and the master en-suite bathroom has an extra-length bath with shower over, a vanity unit and wc suite.
The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and built-in wardrobes and the adjoining en-suite has a walk in shower, vanity unit and wc suite. The third bedroom, which is adjacent to the main bathroom, has two single beds which can be joined together to make a large double if required.
The main bathroom has a bath with shower over, vanity unit, bidet and WC.
The whole property is air-conditioned for the summer heat, and for comfort in the winter, as well as the log-burning stove in the sitting room, there is oil-fired central heating throughout the house.
The villa is surrounded by tiled terraces offering plenty of space to relax and most of the rooms have a view of the pool and gardens.
